Courage – What does it take?

Courage – What does it take?

Courage – What does it take?

Why does it seem like, out of all virtues, Courage is the toughest to muster up? People around me lately have been showing incredible acts of courage which has been inspiring to me.

What do I mean when I say, acts of courage? Good question.
Things like, deciding to: quit smoking, pursuing another degree, changing careers, changing relationships, changing environments – you name it! I don’t think we give ourselves enough credit for all of the hard things we have to endure in life.

Yeah, sh*t gets tough, but you know what they say?
It could always be worse.

I think part of building up the courage to do something big in your life is coming to the realization that God’s got your back. Through thick and thin, He’s already there. He already knows the beginning and the end. We don’t have to be afraid of what is to come. Having the courage, means deciding to stand up to anything that life decides to throw at you, knowing that God has given you the strength to endure.

If God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31
